The coaching project has been established and is since managed by the Ministry of Industry & Trade. It serves as a tool in the network of the Mati centers activity and strives for the promotion and support the small business sector in Israel.
The aim of this program is to assist the small & medium enterprises to ameliorate their performance, profitability and management, to control their expansion, to provide them with management tools and accompany them in the implementation of these tools. The project also assists new businesses in the establishment process.
In order to achieve these goals the project provides the enterprise with professional consulting by experienced specialists selected from the private sector.

- Business strategy, definition of the enterprise's vision and sketching the ways to its fulfillment.
- Financial management
- Production management
- Marketing management
- Information systems
- Human resources management
- Other relevant fields for the business management
"Small Coaching" (for a business with 1-4 employees)
Who is entitled for the project?
The project is aimed at businesses employing up to 4 employees and come from the following areas: industry, craft, trade and service.
How many coaching hours do I get?
A small enterprise with 1-4 employees gets up to 20 coaching hours.
The overall duration of the project will be max. 6 months.
"Large coaching" (for a business which has 5-100 employees)
Who is entitled for the project?
The project is aimed at businesses employing 5-100 employees and come from the following areas: industry, craft, trade and service.
How many coaching hours do I get?
- An enterprise with 5-10 employees gets up to 100 coaching hours.
- An enterprise with 11-100 employees gets up to 150 coaching hours.
- The overall duration of the project will be max. 18 months.
What do I have to do in order to get this small/large coaching?
A business manager interested in having the coaching project may approach Mati Ashdod directly.
How much is it?
- The cost for application submission through Mati: 250 NIS for the "Small coaching", 350 NIS for the "Large" one.
- The tariff for an hour of consulting is 192 NIS + VAT.
- The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Employment finances 75% of the project's cost, while the business only provides 25%.
